Bow Rests and Plates
Using a rest and plate will protect your bow shelf from wear and provides quieter arrow draw. Bow rests comes with materials such as Hair that is the slickest for cleaner arrow release. Leather is the more durable rest material, but takes time to break-in. Rug material cushions the arrow for better accuracy.
Elevated Rests create a smaller surface area for the arrow to touch, so bow hand movement has minimal effect on the arrow flight to increase your accuracy.
